What we’re looking for:

We are looking for a highly experienced and Google certified Adwords expert and trainer with a proven track-record for delivering successful PPC campaigns, organising digital skills workshops for SMEs and can speak publicly on the subject. You will be delivering face-to-face training to members of the public, in-house organisations and webinars to large audiences.

You will need to have in depth knowledge and strong practical working experience in areas such as Google Adwords and other PPC based platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. The ideal candidate will also have a high level of experience training in different environments from small sized companies, to large departments and C-level management.

A key part of this role will be taking ownership of the AdWords training material created. Maintaining and evolving the content for our Google AdWords courses. You will also be instrumental in helping identify opportunities for new PPC courses to add to the UpSkill Digital training portfolio.

The candidate will be involved with the following:

  • Ensures that the Adwords training curriculum is continually updated to incorporate new product offerings, best practices, training concepts, and policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintains Adwords teaching aids, such as handbooks, demonstration models, visual aids, tutorials, assessments, user guides, help files and other supporting and training materials.
  • Delivers Adwords training via on-site, or remote using webinar presentations.
  • Stay current in relevant learning, sales, and business trends and maintains a deep
  • Responding to post-training questions from attendees.
  • Protects confidentiality of data and intellectual property; ensures compliance with appropriate industry and governmental requirements.
  • Creating written / video content for publication online
  • Delivering engaging and interactive face-to-face and online training workshops and seminars
  • Creating written / video content for publication online
  • Managing and hosting events at training venues across the UK
  • Sourcing good opportunities for increasing the awareness of the training proposition

The candidate will have the following:

  • Passion for teaching with the versatility to train different audiences from a small workshop to speaking on a stage to a large audience
  • Min 3-years experience of delivering hands-on digital skills training
  • An outgoing personality and the ability to deliver workshops in a unique way that is both engaging and true to your personality.
  • Experience working with AdWords campaigns, building accounts, running campaigns and reporting results
  • Experience across multiple sectors, using a range of different goals, targets and KPIs
  • Experience across all AdWords campaign types; Essential – search, display, mobile, video
  • Practical use of AdWords Editor and Google Merchant Centre
  • Understanding of tracking and attribution for PPC
  • Experience running PPC campaigns within Bing, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn
  • Extremely comfortable presenting, training and public speaking
